Plain Dyed Denim Service Overdyed Its Popular Dirty

Remember the insane 18.5 oz. ‘Dirty Harry’ denim SOSO dropped back in March?  Well, it’s been such a hit that they’ve overdyed it to achieve two new colorways, both with the same untameable amount of slub as last time.

Milled in Australia, SOSO’s Dirty Harry denim is woven 3 x 1 with uneven warp/weft densities and a healthy dose of Australian slub yarns to achieve a fabric that is off the scale in terms of texture and character.

The two new overdyed editions of this high-octane fabric are Clay Blue and Black.  The Clay Blue is a gorgeous shade of midnight indigo, with the inside of the fabric taking on a brighter, more electric shade of blue which gives a preview of what’s to come when the fades start rolling in.  The Overdyed Black is, well, black.  One for the track black-denim heads out there, but also a great option if you want to dip your toes into the dark side with something that’s chock-full of texture.

Both fabrics weigh in at 18.5 oz. per square yard and has a unique selvedge ID, with the black sporting a classic redline and the Clay Blue coming with a rarely-seen quadruple selvedge ID of indigo, copper, blue, and yellow (the blue and yellow line being a lovely subtle nod to SOSO’s Swedish heritage).
